Tour Photos

Here are some photos that were taken while we were on a brief tour of England with Herman Dune back in September. Enjoy!

Zombie-Zombie at The End of the Road Festival. This was our first night there. It was freeeeezing cold and neither of us were prepared for the weather. Luckily, when Zombie Zombie played, it was so packed with people that we were able to warm up. They were amazing!

Setting up the stage at the festival.

David and Turner before playing our set at the festival.

Peacocks! The festival took place on a nature reserve of some sort. There were peacocks just roaming the area. They were beautiful and the most amazing thing was that they didn't seem to be bothered by the people. And as far as we could tell, the people didn't bother them either.

At the festival, we met up with our friends Jack, Jeff, Helen and Dave. It was nice to see familiar faces so far from home. All of us left New York just to meet up again on the other side of the ocean!

Turner was also on tour with Dawn Landes, who was playing the festival as well. It was great because Turner was able to play bass with Herman Dune at the festival. This a shot of Turner playing his songs in this little wooden box that was out in the middle of the woods with a piano in it. Anyone could get up and play, i think. David and Turner both played songs and Dave from the Wave Pictures also sang a song. In order to get there, you had to walk through this patch of forest that was completely draped in christmas lights. It was really beautiful.

At the end of the night, Herman Dune played another set in a smaller stage tent. It was so much fun, the place was packed with people and the stage was packed with musicians. On stage, we were joined by Jack, Dave Beauchamp, Dave T. from the Wave Pictures and few other people as well. It was totally crazy and fun!

The Van!! This thing was so cool. It was huge and had a DVD player and two rows of seats and a bed-like area in the back. FANCY!

We played a show with The Jeffrey Lewis Band at this venue on a boat in Bristol. (I can't remember the name of the venue.) The Jeffrey Lewis Band was amazing!

This is the venue at ULU in London. Dave from the Wave Pictures played with Herman Dune for this show. It was a fun time and afterwards, the Wave Pictures took us to this great restaurant near their place and we were serenaded by this old Rasta dude who sang every word that came out of his mouth. The night ended up with all of us just imitating this Rasta dude, aka the Rasta Masta.

We played another show in Manchester before we left, but I didn't take photos of that venue. After that show, we stayed with a wonderful woman, Bernie, who was kind enough to let us stay at in her amazing home. Thank you, Bernie!
